Required Skills: •Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications, services, and APIs. •Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions that support scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability. •Build and enhance microservices and distributed systems that support Mastercard's technology ecosystem. •Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices and coding standards. •Participate in requirements reviews, solution design discussions, sprint planning, and technical refinement activities. •Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality and maintainability. •Develop and maintain automated tests to support application quality and reliability. •Support CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation to accelerate software delivery. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •Strong programming skills in Java and object-oriented design principles. •Strong experience and sound knowledge of Java, Spring, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, Rest Assured, JBehave/Cucumber frameworks, databases such as Oracle, APIs including REST/SOAP, Continuous Delivery concepts and tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo, and vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify. •Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture principles, and distributed system concepts. •Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques. •Applied hands-on capability in Maven, Git, Jenkins, and modern software development tools. •Understanding of CI/CD practices and Agile software development methodologies. •Knowledge of secure coding practices and software security fundamentals. •Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
