Qualifications: •Proficiency in one or more object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python). •Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. •Operational familiarity with real-time data streaming (e.g., Kafka, Flink) or time-series forecasting pipelines. •Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment on engineering trade-offs where algorithm behavior has direct business impact. •Background in contributing to engineering culture through code review, documentation, or mentoring. •For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $171,000 per year - USD $190,000 per year. •For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $171,000 per year - USD $190,000 per year. •For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $171,000 per year - USD $190,000 per year. •For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
