Hiring: Software Engineer, Client Experience Frameworks Company: Addepar Location: New York City Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 16:11:29 Target Skills & Keywords : API Design, Accessibility, Angular, Design System, JavaScript, React, Render, Svelte, TypeScript, Vite, Vue, Webpack About the job Experience: •1 year of experience as a professional software engineer (internships count) •At least 1 year of experience as a professional software engineer (internships count) Required Skills: •If you'd rather build the platform than build on it, let's talk. •Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment. •Build and maintain framework-agnostic UI components that serve product teams working across multiple frontend technologies simultaneously •Support adoption of the design system across the product engineering organization, helping teams integrate and migrate •Contribute to developer experience through build tooling, testing infrastructure, documentation, and automation •Write declarative, well-tested, and accessible component code with attention to detail and long-term maintainability •Learn and work across multiple frontend frameworks, developing a deep understanding of how they relate to underlying web standards •Participate in design reviews with a high bar for component architecture, API design, and consistency Qualifications: •You have a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar technical field (or equivalent practical experience) •You have at least 1 year of experience as a professional software engineer (internships count) •You have solid TypeScript or JavaScript fundamentals and a desire to deepen your expertise •You have experience with at least one modern UI framework (React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Ember, or similar) and curiosity about how they work under the hood •You have some familiarity with web standards: how the DOM works, browser APIs, and how components render and update •You have exposure to build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar) — you don't need to be an expert, but you're not afraid of configuration •You care about writing clean, generic, reusable code and have an eye for detail •You're comfortable asking questions, giving and receiving feedback in code review, and learning from more experienced engineers •You have strong written and verbal communication skills •Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this role within the United States.
