Required Skills: •The Software Asset Management Analyst supports the end-to-end management of software assets, including inventory and entitlement accuracy, license compliance and optimization, renewals, procurement activities, software requests, reporting, and continuous process improvement. •This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a modern, data-driven SAM program focused on operational excellence, responsible AI adoption, cloud governance, and automation. •Maintain accurate software entitlement, contract, purchase, subscription, installation, allocation, and usage records in ServiceNow SAM Pro and related systems; investigate and resolve data discrepancies. •Perform license reconciliation and compliance analysis, maintain supporting evidence, and assist with audit and remediation activities. •Analyze inventory and usage data to identify optimization opportunities and coordinate license reclamation, reassignment, or termination. •Track renewals, costs, quantities, contract terms, and milestones; validate purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and proof of entitlement. •Manage software requests and support onboarding of new products, including approvals, catalog, licensing, fulfillment, governance, and record completion. •Prepare operational reports and metrics on usage, spend, renewals, compliance, data quality, and savings opportunities. Qualifications: •Two or more years of experience in software asset management, IT asset management, software procurement, licensing, or a related discipline. •Solid functional working knowledge of software licensing agreements and models, including SaaS, open-source software, enterprise agreements, subscriptions, perpetual licenses, and consumption-based licensing. •Proficiency with modern productivity, reporting, and automation tools; experience using generative AI or Microsoft 365 Copilot responsibly to analyze information, summarize findings, create documentation, and improve repeatable workflows. •Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities, collaborate across teams, and deliver work with limited supervision. •Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, finance, or a related field. •Relevant certification in IT service management, ServiceNow, IT asset management, or software asset management.
