This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. •The Senior Systems Administrator (TACLAN) is responsible for the administration, security, maintenance, and operational support of classified and unclassified Tactical Local Area Networks (TACLANs) supporting USSOCOM. This role ensures mission-critical systems remain secure, available, compliant, and operational across multiple security domains •Administer and maintain TACLAN environments. •Manage Windows Server, RHEL, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and virtualization platforms. •Perform system patching, upgrades, backups, and lifecycle management. •Implement DISA STIGs, support RMF activities, and remediate vulnerabilities. •Monitor system performance, availability, and security. •Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; perform root cause analysis. Qualifications: •A DoW TS/SCI clearance is required •Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 - System Administrator - Intermediate level or higher. •NIPRNet, SIPRNet and JWICS/COE/SOCRATES administration •Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate across functional teams, provide leadership and mentorship, maintain attention to detail and accountability, and apply sound, mission-focused judgment while adapting to evolving requirements.
