Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Operator - Ethanol Plant Company: Valero Location: Charles City, IA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 12:32:03 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : SAP About the job Required Skills: •Operate and maintain all processes associated with corn receiving, corn storage, product storage, unloading, and loading. •Unload corn from trucks and railcars. •Load ethanol into trucks and railcars. •Load distiller’s grains into trucks, railcars, and containers. •Take samples of corn, ethanol, and distiller’s grains for testing. •Operate plant scale house; probes, analyzes, and grades corn, weighs trucks in and out, enters data into scale house software, issues paperwork to drivers. •Operate meters and bulk weighers to facilitate product loading. •Operate locomotive or rail mover to move railcars on plant site to facilitate loading and unloading of product. Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED required. •Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
