Required Skills: •Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. •Manually lift and load materials onto trucks while verifying box or material counts of that material. •Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. •Transfers materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. •Drives company vehicle, operate hydraulic lift and forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. •Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined part-number sequence. •Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. •Marks materials with identifying information. Qualifications: •High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to perform duties under minimal supervision •Demonstrated capacity to work flexible work hours •Requires that the employee maintain a valid forklift license.
