Required Skills: •Develop methods for using resources such as skilled manufacturing craft, production equipment, and tooling to fabricate products for Y-12 mission requirements. •Ensure proper sequence of operation and prepare manufacturing plans and instructions for processes and equipment. •Solve manufacturing processing problems of significant and/or far-reaching complexity. Investigate sources of nonconforming or unexpected results, devise guidelines for data gathering, provide recommendations, and implement solutions based upon knowledge and manufacturing experience. •Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, increased process capabilities, and data driven decision making. •Support process feasibility/scoping studies and equipment/facility/process upgrades •Communicate status of established project/task goals, schedules, and funding. •Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security •Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. •Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. •Ten or more years of relevant education, training and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy the educational and years of experience for this posting. •Able to interpret mechanical drawings and dimensional inspection results per GD&T/ASME Y14.5 •Good oral and written communication skills.
