Oversee and ensure the efficiency and quality of supervisory and staff. Plan schedules for Valve Repair lead hands & machinist. •Quality control of valve testing and valve repair activities and product. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all work produced in the Valve Repair shop meets quality requirements. •Inspect Valve Repair facilities and equipment. Make changes in allocation of space and storage of product. Evaluate and recommend major equipment additions / modifications. •Provide and maintain accurate Valve Repair timelines. Develop production goals and track results for Valve Repair jobs in progress. Monitor, plan and schedule jobs to ensure on-time shipments and maximize efficiency. Take ownership of delegated projects and manage to completion. •Enforce policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all Legislated and Company safety procedures. Qualifications: •Ensure that all Valve Repair personnel are properly certified and trained (i.e. National Board certifications).
