Hiring: Service Writer Company: Yellowhouse Machinery Location: Midland, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 19:08:56 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •2+ years experience in Service Department operations is preferred Required Skills: •Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced. •Promotes and adheres to company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality. •Administers the warranty claim process to maximize the efficiency and return on warranty claims. •Understands warranty regulations and is able to provide consultation to Service Managers, Techs, and Parts Department Personnel on the proper way to proceed with a warranty situation. •Processes customer pay invoices, warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up. •Communicates to departmental management about warranty status on a regular basis. •Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department. •Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization.
