As a service technician, you will be required to perform your job duties and conduct yourself in a professional manner. •Must be capable of working a scheduled swing shift. •Maintain equipment and surrounding area (keeping area clean). •Must be capable of obtaining, preparing, and analyzing hot metal samples with the use of a Leco analyzer. •Must be capable of operating injection equipment. •Document all problems and potential problems. •Ensure all equipment is operating properly. •Must adhere to all S.O.P.s and safety rules, for the company and customer, and complete required safety training. Qualifications: •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Must be capable of working in a mill environment. •Must possess a sound mechanical aptitude. •Employee must be punctual and dependable. Overtime may be required, where needed. •Schedule may change with a short notice, based on Customer demand. •Frequently works with gloves and eye protection.
