Required Skills: •Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote connection for WEG LV Drives, Soft Starters, PLCs, HMIs, and basic MV/DC/System Drive applications. •Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex electrical, control, programming, and communication issues. •Perform structured remote diagnostics to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. •Evaluate support cases to determine when on-site intervention is required and coordinate escalation to Field Service or Senior Support Engineers. •Support Field Service Engineers by providing technical guidance, wiring diagrams, parameter recommendations, and troubleshooting assistance before and during site visits. •Document customer interactions, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions within technical support systems. •Assist with product evaluations, testing activities, warranty validation, and technical issue investigations. •Identify product non-conformities and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to support corrective actions. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. •Solid understanding of LV Drives, Soft Starters, motors, and industrial electrical systems. •Operational familiarity with MV Drives, DC Drives, and System Drive applications. •Solid functional working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, and BACnet. •Understanding of AC/DC motor control, power electronics, and control logic. •Knowledge of applicable safety standards including NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements. •Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
