Hiring: Senior Test Engineer Company: Ducommun Incorporated Location: Appleton, WI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:01:50 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Lean Manufacturing, PCB, Root Cause Analysis About the job Experience: •6 plus years’ experience in test engineering •Demonstrated capacity to use multiple simulation and design packages. •Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards. •Knowledge of analog, digital, and RF circuits, PCB assemblies, and manufacturing processes. •Hands-on experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNAs), signal generators, and power meters. Required Skills: •Develop and maintain functional, in-circuit, and system-level test solutions for electronic products. •Support NPI activities, including test strategy development, fixture design, and process validation. •Troubleshoot test equipment, software, fixtures, and product failures to minimize production downtime. •Analyze test yields and failure data, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. •Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and customers to resolve technical issues and improve product performance. •Develop and maintain test documentation, procedures, and work instructions. •Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable quality standards. •Mentor test technicians and junior engineers and provide technical leadership on improvement projects.
