Required Skills: •We are seeking a Field Computer Technician to provide onsite technical support and break-fix services for laptops, desktops, and related computer equipment throughout the metro area and surrounding locations. •The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing laptop and desktop hardware and be comfortable traveling extensively to customer locations. •Respond to assigned service requests for laptop and desktop repairs. •Perform hardware break-fix activities, including replacement of hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, and other components. •Perform whole-unit equipment swaps as required. •Repair or replace PC peripherals. •Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues. •Document service activities and close service tickets in real time using a company-provided mobile device. Qualifications: •Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware and software. •Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications. •Demonstrated capacity to troubleshoot and resolve basic/non-complex technical issues. •Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle. •Current and valid auto insurance. •Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including driving 2-3 hours to customer locations when required. •U.S. citizenship due to access requirements for federal and government facilities. •Demonstrated capacity to complete required product training and certification. •Demonstrated capacity to pass drug screening and background verification. •Previous field service or deskside support experience.
