Hiring: Senior Systems Integration Engineer, Body Company: Zoox Location: Foster City, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:57:56 Target Skills & Keywords : AI, Design System, Embedded Systems, Firmware, Linux, Machine Learning, Systems Design, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration About the job Experience: •10 years of experience in System engineering, preferably in EVs or automotive systems •At least 10 years of experience in System engineering, preferably in EVs or automotive systems Required Skills: •In this key role, you will drive the system requirements, functional architecture, integration, and verification activities for the Body domain to achieve end-to-end system capability. •In This Role, You Will Qualifications: •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field •Strong system-level understanding of diverse vehicle Systems architectures for Closures, lighting, and related body control functions •Operational familiarity with power management requirements specific to autonomous vehicles, network architecture, and power electronics in EV platforms. •Strong foundation in sensor and actuator technologies for different body control systems. •Deep knowledge of developing automotive systems using model-based processes. •Deep knowledge of developing electrical systems and subsystems requirements, with proficiency in tools like IBM DOORS, Siemens Polarion, or similar. •Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures, including communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) application and defining Physical & Functional interfaces. •Knowledge of Automotive Diagnostics (UDS) routines and the Functional Safety Standard (ISO 26262).
