Required Skills: •The Corporate Technology Group designs, deploys, and supports Bloomberg’s platforms and systems used by more than 21,000 employees across 170+ offices worldwide. The team supports critical infrastructure services that enable internal applications, data platforms, engineering workflows, and enterprise operations across Bloomberg. •We’ll Trust You To Engineer, support, and troubleshoot governed Windows Server environments, including configuration, patching, clustering, Active Directory integration, platform services, and lifecycle management. •Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server services, including installation, configuration, patching, backup/restore, security, performance troubleshooting, availability, failover clustering, and operational support. •Diagnose complex service issues across Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, DNS, service accounts, networking, storage, virtualization, and application dependencies. •Improve monitoring, alerting, telemetry, service health reporting, documentation, and operational handoffs to reduce risk and improve supportability. •Identify and deliver improvements that simplify processes, reduce manual effort, increase automation, and improve the consistency of service delivery across the global operating model. •Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, preventative engineering, and operational readiness for business-critical platform and database services. •Partner across engineering, operations, application, database, security, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute platform and database service changes safely and effectively. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent platform, systems, and database services experience.
