The company is a global pioneer of AESA tactical radars for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. •Business Unit: DRS RADA Technologies •DRS RADA Technologies, located in Germantown, MD, is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer with a focus in Radar Signal Processing. •Be responsible for defining radar system architectures, developing concepts of operations for radar systems, designing radar processing algorithms, and developing and decomposing system, hardware, and software requirements. You will also support the integration of radar systems into counter-defensive systems. •Additional opportunities include performing statistical analysis of radar system performance using real and/or simulated data. •This position operates within a dynamic, collaborative development environment supporting multiple research and development efforts, working closely with internal and external customers across related programs. •Algorithm Development •Signal Processing and Waveform Design Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in electrical, systems engineering, computer science or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience •DoD Secret level clearance or ability to obtain a clearance •Knowledge of radar technology.  Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems •Demonstrated capacity to interact with customers to define requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness •U.S. Citizenship required.
