Required Skills: •Lead the structural engineering and design of assigned projects from concept through production and completion. Develop structural calculations, engineering analyses, and design solutions in accordance with building codes, engineering standards, and customer specifications. •Perform structural analysis for steel structures, modular buildings, equipment supports, platforms, and related fabricated systems, incorporating gravity, wind, seismic, and other applicable loading conditions. •Review architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings to ensure proper coordination with structural systems. Coordinate with Project Managers to support project schedules, budgets, engineering deliverables, and customer expectations. •Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing to optimize designs for fabrication efficiency, constructability, and cost reduction. Provide engineering support throughout manufacturing, resolving design questions and field issues as they arise. •Evaluate engineering changes and recommend solutions while minimizing impacts to project cost and schedule. •Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions as the primary structural engineering representative. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering (or a related engineering discipline) required. •Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe. •Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel design. Strong understanding of the International Building Code (IBC), ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, AISI, and other applicable engineering standards. •In-depth knowledge of fabrication methods and design for manufacturability. •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with high attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and lead technical discussions with customers, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
