Required Skills: •Lead and oversee designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects. •Lead and oversee the overall design and analysis of safety and non-safety related structures for nuclear and commercial projects. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering or related technical or engineering field. •Minimum of 7 years relevant experience to include recent nuclear design project structural engineering experience. •Master's degree preferred. •Effective written and verbal communication skills. •Mastered the in-depth knowledge and experience required in civil design. •In-depth knowledge of strength of materials and structural mechanics. •Able to complete complex technical work with limited supervision. •Higher-level knowledge and application of skills of fundamental principles and concepts related to civil and structural design. •Operational familiarity with industry standards and design codes such as ASME, ACI, ASCE and AISC •Prior nuclear industry experience including interactions with NRC or other regulatory authorities.
