Required Skills: •This role will support the Intelligence Community’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Maryland. •Provides technical leadership and is responsible for the development of new storage infrastructure and Information Lifecycle Management designs, including requirements and analysis. •Shares ownership of the operational responsibility for storage provisioning and availability at government customer site with the Customer/Government Storage Manager. •Lead and oversee the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be delivered on an ongoing basis. Qualifications: •Bachelor degree in a technical field is required. An additional 5 years of experience in storage operations might be substituted for degree. •Proven proficiency in storage solutions including but not limited to block, nfs, sif, s3, sharefile systems, and nas. •In-depth knowledge of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls), iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Ethernet. •IAM II certification (DoD 8140 required upon start of employment. Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP) •5 years of experience in storage operations might be substituted for degree.
