In this role, you will architect and implement scalable microservices and secure APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure, partnering closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams. •You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, improving engineering practices, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is highly hands-on while also providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and championing best practices in a microservices-based, cloud-native ecosystem. •What You’ll Do •Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot running on Azure. •Build secure, scalable, and resilient services leveraging Azure services (for example: AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Gateway). •Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans. •Own services end-to-end: design, development, testing, deployment, observability, support, and continuous improvement. •Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices to improve deployment speed and reliability. •Design and tune data models and integrations with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, etc.). •Use AI-assisted development tools (for example: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium) to accelerate delivery and elevate code quality. •Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture forums; drive high engineering standards across the team. •Mentor developers, pair program, and provide technical guidance to help grow the team’s capabilities. •Contribute to continuous improvement of our engineering practices, tooling, and platform capabilities.
