Your goal will be to reduce systemic production risk and enable continued growth by making infrastructure safer to change, easier to operate, and more resilient and cost-efficient at scale. •Set technical direction for major infrastructure systems and lead ambiguous initiatives spanning multiple teams. •Design, build, and operate reliable cloud platforms, bringing depth in one or more areas such as compute, networking, storage, stateful systems, or infrastructure control planes. •Improve the scalability, capacity management, isolation, recovery, and cost efficiency of critical production infrastructure. •Build standardized infrastructure-as-code workflows and reusable automation that support self-service provisioning, testing, progressive rollout, reconciliation, rollback, and drift prevention. •Identify shared failure modes and build safeguards that prevent localized failures from escalating into broad customer impact. •Contribute to multi-account, multi-region, and isolated AWS architectures, including regulated environments such as GovCloud. •Participate in operational ownership and incident response, using incidents and near misses to drive durable architectural improvements.
