Hiring: Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Company: Hinge Health Location: San Francisco, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:43:37 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : A/B Testing, AWS, CI/CD, Docker, Feature Store, GraphQL, HIPAA, Java, JavaScript, NestJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Python, Rails, React, React Native, Redis, SOC 2, TypeScript About the job Experience: •3+ years of non-internship full time professional software development experience Required Skills: •Deliver large projects that introduce new product capabilities, often acting as a maintainer for key code repositories. •Modernize existing pipelines to scale our proven products with company growth. •Break down complex problems into manageable tasks, ensuring steady and predictable delivery while identifying and resolving root causes of incidents. •Partner cross-functionally with your team to roadmap and execute ambitious technical strategies, balancing short-term and long-term trade-offs. •Mentor and support junior engineers, providing thoughtful code reviews and real-time pairing. •Integrate and leverage AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features, contributing to Hinge Health’s AI-driven care platform. •Proactively improve the maintainability, availability, and performance of the team’s features, and contribute to the team’s overall architecture and developer tooling. •Communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical partners, and document solutions for future reference. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field •Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) •Backend-heavy, full-stack ownership — strong ownership of backend APIs and services (~70% of the role), plus the ability to work confidently in the frontend surfaces (React / React Native) members interact with in referral flows (~30% of the role). •Demonstrated capacity to own projects end-to-end, make sound technical tradeoffs, and execute with minimal direction. You don't need to set org-wide technical direction, but you should be someone the team trusts to get the hard, ambiguous parts of a project right. •Incentive & growth experience — prior experience on a growth team, designing or contributing to systems that drive measurable user behavior through incentives, rewards, or social mechanics, and working on user journeys, experiences, or acquisition channels. •Personalization at scale — experience integrating ML model outputs into acquisition surfaces: A/B testing infrastructure or model serving. •Experimentation — experience running A/B tests or experiments in close collaboration with data science. •Operational familiarity with health or regulated-data environments Compensation: •$158,400 - $237,600 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
