Location: San Diego Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:04:08 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Risk Management About the job Experience: •10 to 15 years of progressive experience in scheduling, claims, and project controls within municipal, transportation, or utility projects. •15 years of progressive experience in scheduling, claims, and project controls within municipal, transportation, or utility projects. •10 years of experience in construction scheduling and claims analysis •Minimum 10 years of experience in construction scheduling and claims analysis Required Skills: •· Develop and manage detailed CPM schedules (baseline, updates, and as-built) using Primavera P6 for multiple concurrent projects •· Establish logic-driven schedules with resource and cost loading, ensuring alignment with project milestones and objectives •· Analyze and monitor critical path activities and assess schedule impacts due to delays, design changes, and field conditions •· Conduct Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) and forensic schedule evaluations to support delay claims and contract modifications •· Review and assess contractor-submitted baseline schedules, updates, narratives, and recovery strategies for accuracy and compliance •· Identify entitlement, causation, and quantification of schedule impacts and prepare technical reports to support dispute resolution •· Support claim documentation, expert witness reports, and litigation/arbitration with clear narratives and schedule exhibits •· Collaborate with project managers, estimators, contract administrators, and field staff to gather documentation and validate claims Qualifications: •· Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced schedule logic •· Strong background in public works, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects •· Excellent report writing, analytical, and presentation skills and the ability to present scheduling information to technical teams and executives. •· Familiarity with Southern California public agencies/municipalities •· Working knowledge of construction contracts, including AIA, DBIA, Caltrans Standard Specs •· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or JD is a plus) •· Certifications: PMP, PMI-SP or Planning & Scheduling (PSP) •401(k) Plan with Company Match •Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance •Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Compensation: •$175,000 - $200,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
