Hiring: Senior Reliability Engineer Company: Milwaukee Tool Location: Brookfield, WI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:14:22 Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Microsoft Excel, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •5+ years of experience in related reliability and quality field •2+ years of experience working with power electronics design and reliability Required Skills: •Product Development and Life Cycle Management •Collaborate and lead teams to evaluate new product designs and engineering changes with respect to product reliability, user requirements and warranty information •Coordinate with Engineering and Marketing to define product specifications required for all aspects of test validation for reliability and quality requirements. •Optimize product testing to shorten test durations, make concrete design decisions, and shorten the product development process. •Lead Risk Assessments (Design and Manufacturing) during the product development cycle •Partner cross-functionally with our Global suppliers to optimize the quality of the components that Milwaukee integrates into its product portfolio. •Track multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to schedule and the Milwaukee Tool process. •Develop test plans and procedures based on new or established products, to ensure product meets customer requirements Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or educational equivalent field •Previous relevant experience with Design of Experiments, life data analysis, and other related statistical tools and software (i.e. Minitab, Reliasoft) •Written and verbal communication skills and creative problem-solving capabilities •Demonstrated capacity to travel 10% of the time is required (travel includes Domestic and International) •Preferred: ASQ Reliability Engineering Certification (ASQ-CRE) or the ability and desire to achieve certification •Preferred: Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Six Sigma experience •Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with power electronics design and reliability •Preferred: Working knowledge of international safety standards and testing methods like IEC, UL, UN, etc relevant to energy storage products.
