Required Skills: •Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. •Develop and implement reliability test plans for satellite hardware components. •Perform stress screening, environmental testing, and drive failure analysis to ensure satellite hardware meets reliability and performance targets •Analyze designs and test results to identify potential failure modes and mitigations. •Design And Development Support •Partner cross-functionally with design engineers to implement design for reliability best practices. •Act as a key stakeholder in reviewing and approving designs for release. •Participate in design reviews and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to assess potential reliability issues. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. •Significant knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methods, and tools. •Proficiency in failure analysis techniques and materials characterization methods. •Operational familiarity with electronics (PCBs, PCBAs, electronic components) and moving mechanical assemblies. •Master's or Doctorate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. •Proficiency in Python, including NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Plotly, and Matplotlib. •Operational familiarity with PCB fabrication, SMT, and polymerics application manufacturing processes. •Operational familiarity with relevant industry standards, including IPC, JEDEC, AIAA, AEC, MIL, and SMC standards.
