Required Skills: •Design advanced 1K (acrylics, alkyds) and 2K (urethane, epoxy) coatings to meet strict customer and internal specifications. •Adapt liquid coatings for aerosol delivery, managing propellant compatibility, pressure, and spray patterns. •Oversee comprehensive testing including adhesion, weathering (QUV), corrosion / chemical resistance, and color matching. •Transition successful lab formulations to full-scale plant manufacturing. •Guide and train junior laboratory chemists in formulation techniques and lab safety. Qualifications: •Deep knowledge of acrylics, alkyds, 2K polyurethane / polyester, and epoxy-amine chemistries.
