Required Skills: •Reporting to the Director, Quality, the Senior Quality Assurance Manager is matrixed to the Director of Projects at site and is responsible for implementation of the project and/or site quality program/plan and site or project specific procedures for projects executed at site. Qualifications: •This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result, applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements. •Directs and Coordinates Project Quality Managers on quality activities across multiple projects and/or site, communicating with engineering, project management, procurement and fabrication/construction, and other project personnel to ensure QA goals and objectives are met. •Develops/Approves project/Site Quality Plan to cover all customer requirements to a level of detail necessary to assure integration within the Quality Assurance Program. •Prepares project/site quality-related procedures to meet Code, jurisdictional, customer and internal requirements. •Ensure implementation of Aecon’s NQA-1 program is consistently implemented among all active projects at a specific site •Ensure projects are adequately staffed with qualified QA/QC personnel to meet their specific objectives •Trains quality personnel assigned to the projects and ensures training and qualification records are maintained for all QA/QC professionals across multiple projects at a specific site location. •Liaise with customers, regulatory authorities, subcontractors and/or internal departments on matters related to quality. •Represents the project/site during quality audits conducted by the customer, regulatory agencies and internal audits. •Identifies quality problems, initiates non-conformance reports or corrective action requests and verifies implementation of dispositions.
