Hiring: Senior Project Manager Company: Ohio Cat Location: Columbus, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 14:13:29 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Help power the future as a Project Manager leading some of the largest and most complex data center and mission-critical project generation projects in Ohio. •Project management for engine and power systems, including preparation of engineering submittals, equipment procurement, construction management, and working with field service technicians to support systems installation and equipment start-up. •Review project documents for compliance with project requirements and specifications. •Manage project billing activities including timely invoicing, change order administration and cost tracking. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred •Prior experience as a Project Manager or equivalent •Power Systems, Data Center/Mission-Critical Applications, Energy Transition, or CAT industry expertise preferred. •Proficiency in reading engineering specifications and electrical system diagrams. •Some experience with relevant modeling application software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and business collaboration tools (Microsoft software suite - Excel, OneDrive, Teams) •Operational familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. •A positive working attitude is a must, as the role collaborates internally with other departments, and with external customers and vendors. •Must be results-oriented with a commitment to quality, willing to take on new challenges, self-motivated, take ownership, and goal-oriented. •Proactive thinking, troubleshooting, and time management are highly valued attributes. •Maintain a strong field presence during critical project milestones, including equipment deliveries, commissioning, startup, and customer acceptance activities. Travel up to 50% to customer and job-site locations may be required.
