Hiring: Senior Program Manager Company: GILLIG Location: Livermore, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 23:57:36 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Product Development Lifecycle, Product Lifecycle Management, Program Management, Stakeholder Management About the job Experience: •10 years of experience leading complex product development, new product introduction, or cross-functional programs within commercial vehicle, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or related industries •Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex product development, new product introduction, or cross-functional programs within commercial vehicle, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or related industries Required Skills: •This is an on-site position in Livermore, CA and reports to the Senior Director, Program Management and works closely with leaders throughout the organization to ensure successful program execution and launch readiness. •IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL •Program Leadership & Execution •Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product development and product improvement programs on time, on budget, and on specification while fostering a culture of product excellence •Serve as the single accountable leader for overall program execution and communication across assigned programs •Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, and deliverables •Drive estimation, planning, organization, execution, and monitoring of cross-functional activities throughout the product development lifecycle •Ensure alignment of program objectives with business goals, customer requirements, and organizational priorities Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred •Demonstrated success leading major product development programs from concept through production launch and sustainment •In-depth knowledge of product development lifecycles, manufacturing readiness, launch planning, and cross-functional program execution •Excellent business acumen with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams to strategic objectives •Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and influencing skills •Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to transform complex information into actionable insights and decisions •Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across highly matrixed organizations •Proven strategic thinking, sound judgment, initiative, and ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and organizational complexity •Demonstrated capacity to lift up to 25 pounds •Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer Compensation: •$146,300 - $201,200 / year •$146,300 - $201,200/annual salary + bonus + premium benefits Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
