Required Skills: •Design power electronic systems to convert AC and DC power sources into stable grid compatible voltages and frequencies. •Take ownership and configure our systems active rectifiers, inverters, dc/dc converters. •Utilize expertise in design and validation of gate drivers, power stages, magnetics, and controls. •Conduct modeling and detailed simulation of inverters. •Own the design and build a fully functioning inverter autonomously. •Perform circuit formal analysis, e.g., de-rating and worst-case circuit analysis. •Optimize loss, efficiency, and conduct thermal analysis of the inverter. •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in power electronics. Qualifications: •Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission. •Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
