Required Skills: •Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. •Review payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, and deductions. •Audit payroll registers and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing. •Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. •Respond to employee payroll inquiries regarding earnings, taxes, deductions, and timekeeping. •Partner with Human Resources and Finance to ensure payroll changes are accurately reflected. •Process garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, and other payroll deductions. •Reconcile payroll reports, benefit deductions, and general ledger payroll accounts. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. •In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. •Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlines. •Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism when handling confidential information. •Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus. •Operational familiarity with timekeeping systems such as Kronos, UKG Dimensions, or Workday Time Tracking.
