Hiring: Senior ML Engineer Company: Inventure Location: San Francisco Bay Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-09 18:50:32 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : A/B Testing, CI/CD, Chai, HBase, Ionic, LLM, Make, PATs, Python, SQL, TestNG About the job Required Skills: •As the Recommendations Engineer, you will: •Build and operate the customer-facing recommendation engine that turns food-waste data into actionable outputs: purchasing suggestions, anomaly explanations and operational nudges, including LLM-based logic where it makes sense. •Train, evaluate and iterate on models for anomaly detection, pattern recognition and recommendation in production food-waste data. •Design the features and signals, from IoT sensors to usage data and other sources, that feed your models. •Define and track the metrics that measure whether recommendations actually matter to customers, not just whether the pipeline ran. •Bring CI/CD and experimentation discipline to model and logic changes: automated testing, staged rollout, A/B testing or holdouts, and clear rollback paths. •Partner with Data Platform on the data and signals you need, and with other engineering teams on the inputs their systems produce, then monitor performance in production and drive the fix when it degrades.
