Ascot exists to solve our clients’ brightest tomorrow, through agility, collaboration, resilience, and discipline. •Lead the technical pricing of treaty reinsurance submissions across casualty, professional, and specialty lines, applying both experience and exposure rating methods •Price and evaluate proportional (quota share and surplus) and non-proportional (excess of loss) treaty and automatic facultative structures, including terms, conditions, limits, retentions, and reinstatement provisions •Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing models and tools to improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of the pricing process •Incorporate catastrophe and other model output, loss-cost trends, and inflation into pricing to appropriately reflect peak-peril exposures Qualifications: •A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required •Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) required; Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) preferred •Minimum of 12 years of relevant property & casualty actuarial experience, with 15 or more years preferred •Demonstrated experience in treaty reinsurance pricing, including experience and exposure rating across property, casualty, and specialty lines, is strongly preferred •Strong command of reinsurance pricing techniques and treaty structures (quota share, surplus, and excess of loss), including catastrophe loading and interpretation of catastrophe model output •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to underwriters, brokers, and senior leadership •Proficiency with actuarial and data tools such as Excel, together with one or more of R, Python, or SQL; familiarity with reinsurance pricing platforms is a plus •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and sound actuarial judgment •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analysis under time-sensitive renewal deadlines •Collaborative team player who builds effective partnerships across underwriting, claims, reserving, and capital functions Compensation: •$230,000 - $250,000 / year •Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
