Required Skills: •Netflix is seeking a Senior Manager to support its work on U.S. federal policy within the U.S. & Canada (“UCAN”) Global Affairs team. The role reports to the Senior Director of U.S. Public Policy, and is based in Washington, D.C., with domestic and international travel as needed. •Partner with the Senior Director of U.S. Public Policy to develop and execute advocacy strategy to support Netflix's U.S. federal policy priorities. •Develop high-impact advocacy materials, including policy strategy, legislative analysis, talking points, and presentations. Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S. federal policymakers, including members of Congress, executive branch officials, and their staff. •Monitor congressional hearings, markups, and other legislative developments on a wide range of issues impacting the business. •Conduct legislative research and analysis. •Partner cross-functionally with internal teams as well as external consultants, trade associations, and other stakeholders to develop strategy and proactively advocate for Netflix’s interests on a variety of policy issues. •Advise internal teams on key policy developments and their impact on the business. •Attend company events, trade association meetings, congressional briefings, and industry receptions. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in U.S. federal policy and/or advocacy, including roles in the U.S. Congress, federal agencies, major corporations, law firms, trade associations, and/or civil society. •Exceptional written and verbal communication. •Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating successfully with multiple teams. •Excellent judgment, research skills, and attention to detail. •Netflix is a unique culture and environment.
