Required Skills: •Develop, own, and drive the global Process Control Roadmap •Support planning & Coordination of DCS, PLC, and process control system upgrades across all Celanese sites. •Support corporate strategy to achieve excellence in digital manufacturing and transformation towards Industry 4.0 including Digitalization elements linked to DCS, Automation, and Alarm Mgt •Provide strategic direction and technical guidance for control system modernization and upgrade projects. •Lead and support a global team of Basic Process Control System (BPCS) and Process Control experts. •Support control system upgrades for brownfield projects •Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key process control, automation, and DCS suppliers. •Lead the continued deployment and advancement of the company's Alarm Management program. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical, or a related technical discipline. •Strong knowledge of DCS systems and industrial automation technologies, with the ability to evaluate and apply emerging solutions. •Understanding of the business and operational drivers for automation and alarm management programs. •Demonstrated financial acumen and experience supporting technology investments and deployment decisions. •Demonstrated capacity to serve as both a hands-on technical expert and an effective leader of technical teams and initiatives. •Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership and build alignment around implementation strategies and business objectives.
