Required Skills: •Execute quantitative research supporting security selection, portfolio construction, risk management, strategic asset allocation, and CAPTRUST’s broader investment platform •Build and maintain stock models, valuation tools, research dashboards, and 10-year Capital Market Assumption frameworks under the Director’s guidance •Develop risk and simulation tools, including Value-at-Risk, Monte Carlo and historical simulation, stress testing, scenario analysis, and backtesting •Improve investment data management, governance, quality assurance, documentation, and reproducible research workflows •Partner with quantitative and fundamental investment colleagues; contribute analysis to external manager due diligence and monitoring •Actively facilitate and support firm’s market outlook and quarterly House Views with quantitative perspectives on opportunities, risks, and portfolio positioning •Evaluate AI, machine learning, alternative data, and emerging technologies, and help implement approved applications •Prepare and present research findings to the Director and other stakeholders; manage assigned projects and share expertise across the Investment Group Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline and a master’s degree in quantitative finance, financial engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, or a related field. •Advanced proficiency in Python and R; expertise in stochastic calculus, Monte Carlo simulation, applied statistics, econometrics, and time series analysis. •Fluency in Bloomberg and FactSet, plus exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. •Demonstrated ownership of complex analytical work, sound judgment, and effective collaboration across teams and organizational levels. •CFA designation; experience with Capital Market Assumptions, strategic asset allocation, portfolio optimization, factor modeling, and multi-asset risk analysis. •WHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?
