Required Skills: •This position will be on a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in our Washington, DC office. •Engage with key discussions across the Semiconductor and Electronics industries, including trade policy, delivering strategic insights that influence regulatory outcomes and advance the company’s interests. •Cultivate and leverage a robust external network of experts, politicians, industry groups, and other relevant third parties to enhance the company's presence and gather critical insights, aligning with Sony's strategic direction and business priorities. •Actively engage in legislative and regulatory advocacy to promote favorable laws and regulations for Sony's businesses while mitigating unfavorable ones, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align on company priorities. •Monitor and analyze U.S. political, legal, and regulatory developments to identify trends affecting Sony, transforming information into actionable insights for internal stakeholders and management. •Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above •Minimum 7 years of experience in tech-related industry associations government affairs, public policy, trade affairs, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of legislative and regulatory processes. •Strong interest in technology, particularly in semiconductors and related policy and regulatory developments. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
