Hiring: Senior Manager - Communications Company: Rocketdyne Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 13:57:33 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Program Management, Project Management, Security Clearance About the job Experience: •Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience — OR — 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree •7+ years of relevant experience — OR — 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree Required Skills: •Own Rocketdyne's tradeshow strategy, including booth design and logistics, speaking opportunities and VIP engagements •Manage end-to-end event execution — from pre-event planning through on-site coordination and post-event follow-up •Coordinate exhibitor logistics, calendar management, vendor relationships, and on-site staffing •Serve as the primary point of contact for conference organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders •Develop event protocol documentation and briefing materials for internal stakeholders, covering roles and responsibilities, messaging guidance, dress standards, etc. •Identify and evaluate new conference and sponsorship opportunities aligned with Rocketdyne's growth markets, including national security space, cislunar operations, and nuclear propulsion •Travel to represent Rocketdyne at key industry events with polish and professionalism •Actively facilitate and support development and execution of Rocketdyne's corporate marketing and brand communications plan Qualifications: •Proven track record managing tradeshows and conferences end-to-end, including exhibitor logistics, speaking appearances, and VIP events •Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines without sacrificing quality •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging •Attention to detail and strong follow-through •Demonstrated capacity to travel up to 25% to support conferences, site visits, and events •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a Government DoD Secret security clearance •Operational familiarity with the government procurement landscape •Operational familiarity with marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, C-Vent, or analytics platforms •A genuine enthusiasm for space exploration, national security space, and the technology that makes it possible •Calm under pressure, strong people instincts, and the ability to represent Rocketdyne with confidence in front of any audience Compensation: •$150,000 - $195,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
