Hiring: Senior Maintenance Technician, Packaging - 3rd Shift Company: Simtra BioPharma Solutions Location: Bloomington, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 13:51:40 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel About the job Experience: •5+ years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment Required Skills: •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated inspection packaging equipment including densters/renesters, AIMs, labelers, conveyors, thermoformers, cartoners , and robotic systems. •Identify and implement continuous improvement projects •Support equipment startups, changeovers, and line optimization efforts •Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve equipment and process issues •Develop, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and extend equipment life •Review and track equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long-term reliability •Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures •Complete all work orders within a timely manner while maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation Qualifications: •In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, drives, and control systems. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. •Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: D365, BPLM, Veeva, Trackwise, etc.) •Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 pounds •May be required to stand for over 4 hours per day •Must be able to lift 20 pounds overhead •Must be able to wear personal protective as required. •Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends •Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment and hand tools is required. •In return, you’ll be eligible for [1] Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
