This includes working with manufacturers and vendors to learn computerized diagnostic software and design and execute technical training for all Maintenance employees. •Presents formal maintenance training programs which lead to qualification of bus maintenance personnel repairmen and mechanics. •Conducts impromptu garage training as required to ensure proficiency in areas including but not limited to electric and hybrid propulsions, aftertreatment, air brakes, multiplex systems, storage batteries and HVAC. •Assimilates new technology, including online training and manufacturer-provided web-based training, to course offerings. •Audits vendor training to ensure quality and acquires training aids. •Appraises and provides counsel for complex technical troubleshooting. Validates training objectives. Audits training result and makes suggestions to Maintenance Training management for adjustments as necessary. •Performs upkeep maintenance on training center equipment and training aids. •Interacts with maintenance support groups as required to assist with maintenance procedures implementation.
