Required Skills: •Provide guidance and training to junior logisticians. •Coordinate with the Section Chief (Government) to fill gaps due to personnel shortages, surge in workload, and an increase in new asset types. •Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution, including establishing goals, objectives, and priorities. •Provide weekly and monthly reports on contract work status. •Effectively and efficiently oversee a team of five (5) logisticians (one senior and four junior) and ensure work is performed to the quality expected by the Government. •Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable and substitute items and recommend equipment modifications as necessary. •Determine the effect of maintenance changes on the supply chain. •Assess and advise on the impact of equipment support program efforts across the Coast Guard.
