Required Skills: •Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex and litigated claims. •Analyze coverage and make coverage decisions based on policy language and applicable law. •Develop and manage claims and litigation strategies, including reserves and loss costs. •Direct defense and panel counsel and oversee litigation strategy. •Negotiate high-value settlements and participate in mediations and trials. •Partner cross-functionally with insureds, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to drive effective claim outcomes. •Identify emerging risks and trends across clinical practice areas.
