Required Skills: •Compile and organize documents to assist in discovery, motions practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. •Monitor court dockets for assigned cases and manage internal case files, including through deadline reminders and distribution of case filings. •Preparation and coordination of tenders to insurance carriers on various cases. •Coordinate, organize, and manage large scale document collections and productions. •Conduct complex searches, code and pull documents in Relativity databases. •Coordinate with vendors regarding all aspects of eDiscovery. •Prepare deposition notices and subpoenas; organize, maintain, and prepare witness interview or deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries. •Lead and assist with the preparation, filing, and service of Federal and State Court pleadings and other court papers. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred. •Solid functional working knowledge of Federal and State Court civil rules and procedures. •Demonstrated ability with complex court filings, especially with electronic (e-filing) formats. •Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new software and operating systems as needed. •Proficiency in using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, PACER, and other court-related websites. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. •Strong cite-checking, proofreading, and blue booking skills. •Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details. •Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal business stakeholders, and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.
