Qualifications: •Accounting experience with exposure to statutory, management-based, tax and GAAP for financial reporting and budgeting. •Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Math). •Demonstrated analytical skills to review and analyze financial statements. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate and work with a variety of stakeholders. •Knowledge of insurance accounting concepts and products, including individual life and individual annuities. •The internal title for this role at Securian Financial is Financial Reporting Consultant.
