Hiring: Senior Indirect Tax Accountant - The Americas Company: Bose Corporation Location: Atlanta, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:50:18 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, SAP About the job Required Skills: •Senior Indirect Tax Accountant - The Americas •Support compliance team with filing monthly US sales and use tax across all entities •Prepare and file GST/HST, PST and QST filings for Canada, including running reports, reconciling data, preparing workpapers, and processing all the payments •Prepare US and Canada monthly and quarterly general ledger tax account reconciliations •Review monthly use tax accrual data, use tax reversals and assist with refund claims •Review transaction tax data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies with taxability, rates, and system errors •Resolve tax notices and process any payments necessary for state & local tax authorities •Prepare and maintain current exemption certificates for customers and vendors Qualifications: •Strong Sales and Use tax and Canadian GST/HST, PST, and QST knowledge and skills •Previous tax experience working in large corporate environment •Strong computer and technical skills including Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience •Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills for daily interaction with management, colleagues and other department peers •Demonstrates a high level of respect and integrity with work and all interactions •Detail oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, takes initiative and can manage multiple competing tasks •Self-driven, trustworthy and can work independently •Possesses an aptitude for learning, motivated by self-growth, has an ability to problem-solve and is resourceful •Reliable and proactive in accomplishing assigned tasks in a timely manner •B.S Degree in Accounting, Finance Compensation: •$80,900 - $111,275 / year •At Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents!
