Hiring: Senior Human Resources Manager Company: Thomas Talent Solutions Location: Baltimore, MD Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 17:23:33 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site About the job Required Skills: •Serve as the primary in-house resource for employee relations matters, team member concerns, workplace issues, and day-to-day HR guidance. •Coach managers through employee relations situations, performance concerns, documentation, corrective action, and difficult conversations. •Own the performance management process from start to finish, including goal setting, review cycles, performance improvement, documentation, and follow-through. •Drive employee retention and employee experience efforts through regular feedback, manager partnership, development planning, and proactive issue identification. •Actively facilitate and support continued growth and development of managers and employees through coaching, training, leadership development, and practical people-management tools. •Maintain and update the employee handbook, HR policies, and related procedures; communicate changes clearly across the organization. •Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements, including needs associated with a multi-state workforce. •Oversee the internal side of outsourced payroll and benefits administration, including vendor coordination, issue escalation, employee communication, and process accuracy. Qualifications: •Demonstrated progressive human resources experience with meaningful responsibility for employee relations and performance management. •Strong working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, policy administration, and employment compliance. •Proven ability to coach managers and employees through sensitive or complex people situations. •Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment. •Clear, professional communication skills and strong active-listening ability. •High degree of discretion and judgment when handling confidential information. •Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred. •This role is expected to work on-site in Curtis Bay, Maryland. •The position will work closely with company leadership, managers, employees, the HR Coordinator, and external payroll/benefits partners.
