Accountable for managing and delivering HR programs and services within the organization •Partner with leaders to provide and implement HR initiatives that support management and employees across the organization. •Partner cross-functionally with HR team to design and plan interventions that facilitate organizational changes. •Drive change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness and foster a diversity & inclusion strategy that will maximize our competitive advantage and skills of the workforce. •Effectively communicate expectations with business, operational, and HR partners while promoting a One Team collaborative atmosphere in which all functions of HR work together as one team. •Partner cross-functionally with HR business and operational leaders to identify education gaps and development opportunities for management and employees. Partners with management to provide consultation on coaching and mentorship for staff. •Strong employee relations experience is preferred. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field and at least three years of employee relations experience required. •OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of employee relations experience required. •Bachelor's degree is preferred. •PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification required within the first twelve months of hire for external candidates. Internal applicants within UPMC HR are required to have the certification requirements in place to be considered for promotional opportunities.
