Following $10M in revenue last year, the business is targeting significant growth and is expanding a deliberately small engineering team. •The challenge is broad: simplify complex legal workflows, rebuild the customer portal and strengthen the architecture beneath a product used by customers and internal specialists every day. •Lead improvements across frontend and backend architecture, with a backend lean. •Rebuild the customer-facing portal and design the APIs behind it. •Create robust task orchestration for multi-step drafting, review and filing workflows. •Improve backend services, event pipelines, scheduled jobs and CI/CD. •Design clear data models, schemas, migrations and access controls.
