Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. •Strong proficiency in C/C++ development for microcontroller-based, RTOS, bare-metal, or resource-constrained embedded systems. •Solid functional working knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 14971, software verification, requirements traceability, design controls, and regulated software development documentation. •Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. •Operational familiarity with secure embedded software development practices, including secure boot, signed firmware updates, software bill of materials (SBOM), SOUP management, vulnerability management, and medical device cybersecurity guidance. •Demonstrated success improving firmware engineering practices through peer reviews, coding standards, static analysis, automated builds, testability, defect prevention, and release readiness initiatives. •Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
